I am an ordinary girl, with an ordinary life. I have a pretty mundane job, two kids, and a fiancé who puts up with the chaotic mess of our lives. Pretty ho-hum and run-of-the-mill. Pretty ordinary. Yet I recently have experienced some extraordinary things, and I thought it’d be cool to share those experiences by writing them down. I have always wanted to write a book and be an author, so in addition to my day job as an Engineering Manager, I am also now adding ”Author” to my resume... and that is the job of which I am most proud!
Right now, writing is just an “in my spare time” endeavor, but I hope that one day, after a bit of elbow grease and some luck, I can make it my full-time job. Because being an honest-to-goodness writer is something that I’ve wanted to do since I was 3!
An Ordinary Life, Extraordinary Spark: A Memior
Sometimes being ordinary is OK. In fact, sometimes being ordinary can lead to the extraordinary... all you need is a spark. Find your spark, find God, and find some humor along the way as you read through this quick memoir about my faith journey. There is a brief snippet posted below in my blog post— hopefully you’ll like what you see! If you do, click the button below to buy and read more from Amazon.
Is to let others know that their faith journey is just that—THEIR faith journey, and that their journey has no defined path or time. That being ordinary is a conduit for God and His miracles, both big and small. We just need to be quiet and willing to listen for His voice...
I have finally found God in the quiet, and now I hope to inspire others by sharing my journey and leading by example. If I can finally work on my dream, and write a book that was 35 years in the making, you can find yourself and realize your dream too!
Please note the new “Prayer Chain” section below... I think praying for others is part of my mission for Christ, so if you have petitions you’d like heard, please send them below. Also, I’m not so tech-savvy, so the Prayer Chain will be a work-in-progress as I learn— please be patient with me as I figure out the best way to fulfill this part of my mission! :-)
I will add prayers I receive through firstname.lastname@example.org or through Facebook messenger here. Together we can lift up others’ petitions to God and help live out our mission.
Please send me a note if you want your prayers added here. Also, please note if you prefer to keep the prayer request private, as I will not post it publicly, but will instead add it to my private petitions.
